Had a lovely stay at Gill’s place for myself husband & dogs . The area is so beautiful and convenient for sightseeing.
The house itself was like home from home, with everything you need .
Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again .

We had a lovely week away at Kelly’s Cornish Getaway. The house was very cosy and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfy too! It’s such a great location for exploring Cornwall.

The facilities on the site were pretty good, an 9 hole crazy golf course which looked fairly newly built, an outdoor play area, tennis and squash courts and a indoor pool which was apparently pretty cold (I didn’t venture in!) the on site shop was useful for some snacks, wine and loo rolls and a bucket and spade!

We didn’t try the food at the Holiday park, no vegan options at all but we did use the pool table a few times and the free wifi! We ate out at Salt and at the Grameen Tandoori. Both in Hayle and both really nice food and friendly staff. The kitchen at the house was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals as well which we did a couple of times during the weekdays there is a large Asda in Hayle so easy to get food and cook yourself.

Highly recommended, we will be back!

Just returned home from a fabulous week at Kelly’s Cornish Getaway. It has a lovely home from home feel to it with lots of hidden extras like books to read if you run out, a few toys for the children and cot bed/high chair etc so we didn’t need to pack ours. The beds where comfy and the children loved sleeping in bunk beds.
The location is close to Hayle beach with its gorgeous sand and clear blue water, 20 mins from St Ives and not too far from places of interest such as Flambards theme park which is great for kiddies.
We weren’t overly impressed with the restaurant onsite but generally we prefer to go out to real restaurants or cook at home anyway so not too much of an issue to us.
The on-site shop is very handy and the lady who runs is was very friendly and helpful.
The pool wasn’t as warm as I’d have hoped for 😆 but the children enjoyed it as it wasn’t too deep and they provided balls and woggles to play with.
The week past way too quickly for our liking as it was just so much fun.
If we return to Cornwall we will definitely look to stay at Kelly’s again.

The furry companion and I stayed for a week early May, I was working still but needed a change of scenery. We had a lovely week here, there's everything you could need in the house, it was lovely and clean (inc the bedding which I'm always dubious about), the bed I slept in was super comfy, the town was 18 minutes walk, another 10 or so to the glorious beach. It's a great location for all the major places to visit and plenty of shops for provisions close by. I took a mifi box and 2 4G / 5G enabled phones to work from, however the signal is good and the mifi 4G box worked fine all week, didn't drop out once. Our break away was much needed and was like home from home..Thank you for letting us rent your house for the week Gill !! Sarah & Melv x

We had a beautiful week's holiday here the house is perfect an ideal location to see everything x everything is catered for but the settee is dangerous if you sit on it you fall asleep😂we loved every second it was hard to leave your beautiful house and I said hi to Steve each time I sat on the bench he would be so proud x

The house was ideal for me as a base to explore and had everything I needed! I had a lovely stay, thanks! There is a great deal to see in the area - whether it's a family holiday with young children, or for couples, or for the "solo explorer" (as was the case for me this time).
