WHERE TO FIND US
Our property, is situated in beautiful, serene woodland in a quiet corner of Tolroy Manor, just 1 mile, up a country lane, from the beautiful coastal town of Hayle, and within 2 miles of the stunning five mile long stretch of golden sands at Hayle Towans.
OUR HOUSE
Number 63 Strawberry Hill is a lovely two storey house with its' own outside patio. It is an ideal property for the larger family, or for two families wanting to holiday together.
We can accommodate up to seven people, with three bedrooms, one with a double bed (plus wall mounted tv), another with two singles, and the third with a bunk bed, comprising a single bed on top and 4ft double beneath. There is ample storage space in each room.
We also provide a travel cot and high chair for which there is no additional cost.
Downstairs, the entrance door leads into a spacious lounge with a large, luxurious L-shaped electric reclining sofa, which comfortably seats five, a dining table and chairs, a large wall mounted tv, and storage cabinets equipped with games and books, for children and adults alike, & local information leaflets. We have a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, ironing board and iron, and an attractive bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
The staircase leads to our three bedrooms which lead off the landing. Each has ample storage facilities and bedside lighting.
In case the weather isn't so good, we have electric heaters at the property (and even some nice cosy throws should you just want to curl up on the sofa and watch TV!) For hotter weather we have electric fans for your use.
OUTSIDE
We have a lovely aspect to the front of our property....very Mediterranean with it's exotic shrubs!!! We are also set further down than many of the properties, so our frontage is very private, relatively wind free and a potential sun trap. The rear views are very pleasant too, extending towards Hayle, with a view of the sea in the winter months.
CONVENIENT PARKING
Ample, nearby parking is available just at the back of the property. In the event of that car park being busy there is a larger car park further up the drive near to the Manor House.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
Prices are fully inclusive of electric, and we supply all duvets and pillows, as well as duvet and pillow protectors, but we do require guests to bring their own bed linen. This includes duvet covers, sheets, pillow cases and personal linen such as bath & hand towels, and tea towels.
PARK FACILITIES & ENTERTAINMENT
IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR 2025
Our house is situated in the woodland grounds of Tolroy Manor, which is a John Fowler Holiday Park.
In previous years full park facilities have been included in the cost of the holiiday but due to recent changes by the management unfortunately this is no longer the case.
For an additional £30 per week you can buy a pass for your whole family or group.
However John Fowler requires that this must be purchased via ourselves, as owners, before the holiday starts (they will only issue passes to guests who have pre-booked to use the facilities and cannot "sell them on the door" as such).
. This pass will entitle you to bookable facilities such as the indoor swimming pool, the restaurant , and clubhouse facilities such as entertainment during school holidays.
There is also a launderette, outdoor play area and onsite shop for use by all guests, but only open during the peak season of April to October.
We are situated right on the edge of the site , fairly close to the entrance so guests can have as much or as little involvement with the holiday park as they choose.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER - PLEASE NOTE
The Tolroy Manor holiday park facilities are open April to end of October, but close down from November to March nclusive.
We base our pricing structure on our own accommodation only, and take no responsibility for site facilities being open or not, as the running of them is outside of our jurisdiction.
DOG FRIENDLY
As dog owners ourselves we are dog friendly, up to a maximum of two dogs, and we currently do not operate a supplementary cost for bringing your dogs.
However, we have had some difficult cleans in the past, due to guests allowing their pets to run around inside wet and muddy, or jumping/sleeping on furniture and beds, so please, if you bring your pet, please can you make sure you bring appropriate throws, dog beds and dog towels for after muddy or sandy walks....our cleaners are amazing but it can be very challenging to get rid of damp dog smells in a relatively short window of time especially when the next set of guests may not be "doggy people"! Bookings run from Saturday to Saturday, with an arrival time of 2pm and a departure time of 10am.
We are pleased to say we are no longer asking for a refundable security bond
Non refundable deposits of 20% of the total cost are required at time of booking, with the balance being payable no later than six weeks before arrival date.
PLEASE NOTE: Key to property will be found in the key safe to the right of the front door. Please ALWAYS return it to the safe each time you leave the property, to minimise the risk of losing it, as it is a specialist type of key that cannot be copied at a normal key cutters. In the unlikely event of doorkeys being lost we operate a replacement charge of £30.
